Footy for a great cause
For those of you who are footy tragics (guilty!), you will be aware of the EJ Whitten Legends game that was played recently in Melbourne. This is great entertainment for those of us old enough to remember these stars and delight in seeing them again.
There is, however, a more serious side in that it is raising money for the EJ Whitten Foundation and their support of men’s health and prostate cancer research.
The Cancer Council estimates that there will be 16,665 men who will be diagnosed with prostate cancer this year and that 23% of all cancer diagnosis for men will be prostate cancer.
We urge you to ensure you that you get a regular medical check up, early detection and treatment can significantly increase survival.
We also urge you to check your insurance cover and ensure that you are covered in the event of such a diagnosis. Contact FPD to discuss your specific policy.
